Flash Video is still in use on a huge range of websites. Since the turn of the decade, HTML5 Video standard has started to gain serious momentum and has now become a widely supported video format across desktop and mobile browsers.
The adoption of the HTML5 Video standard was accelerated by a decision made by Apple inc. NOT to support Flash video in their mobile (iOS) versions of Safari.
