As of now (early 2013) HTML5 Video support is excellent across the browser landscape.
The only drawback is needing to encode your video and audio using a couple of different formats in order for different browsers to replay it. eKit CMS accepts video files uploaded to a video section and builds the HTML5 video object.
In the event that a browser is not HTML5 video capable, then, assuming a compatible video format is available, it will invoke a Flash video player for playback.
